Certification by Professional Engineer

Atlas Fall Protection System must receive a Professional Engineer's Seal of Approval. This certification is your Assurance of compliance with jurisdictional Regulations!

Every Atlas system is certified by a Registered Professional Engineer and is manufactured and installed to equal and/or exceed the applicable following requirements:

• Canada Labour Code
• Provincial Fall Protection Regulations
• Provincial & Municipal Building Codes
• ANSI Safety Standards for Fall Protection
• OH&S Safety Standards for Fall Protection
• On-going pertinent Building and current Safety Code Revisions
• CAN/CSA-Z259 Standards CSA Standard Z271-10 "Safety Code for Suspended Elevating Platforms"
• CAN/CSA-Z91-02 (Reaffirmed 2008) "Health and safety code for suspended equipment operations"

Annual inspections, On-going Service & Support

One final consideration needs to be taken into account. What about on-going service and support after the installation is complete? Fall Protection Systems are a long term safety investment, not a disposable commodity.

Atlas’ annual inspection process is economical, fast, and reliable; trained personnel oversee every detail in your annual inspection. Atlas inspections go through rigorous steps and are signed by a professional engineer where mandated.

Inspection process

1. Atlas will schedule a site visit at your convenience
2. Trained personnel will visit your building and prepare a detailed report which includes:
   • An Atlas 19 point check list that includes:
     • Reviewing log book condition Reviewing and photographing posted drawing location
     • Thoroughly inspect each piece of equipment looking for signs of damage, corrosion and/or deformation
     • Photograph equipment
     • Document onsite hazards
   • Recommendations and repairs if required
3. Atlas’  signing engineer will review the prepared reports with the inspector, and if found satisfactory, the report will be stamped as "Passed"
   • Should it be found that repair work is required, Atlas will work with you to correct any issues in an economical and timely fashion
